So I found a reason
To stay alive
To try a little harder
See the other side Talking to myself
Too many sleepless nights
Trying to find a reason
To this stupid life
Don't want your sympathy
Sometimes I don't know who to be
Hey, what you're looking for
No-one knows the answer
They just want more
Hey, who's gonna make it right
This could be the first day of my life
So I found a reason
To let it go
Tell you that I'm smiling
But I still need to grow
Will I find salvation
In the arms of love
Will it stop me searching
Will it be enough
Don't want your sympathy
Sometimes I don't know who to be
Hey, what you're looking for
No-one knows the answer
But you just want more
Hey, who's gonna make it right
This could be the first day of my life
The first time to really feel alive
The first time to break the chain
The first time to walk away from pain
Hey, what you're looking for
No-one has the answer
They just want more
Hey, who's gonna make it right This could be the first day of my life
Hey, what you're looking for
No-one has the answer
They just want more
Hey, who's gonna shine a light
This could be the first day of my life
There is another music play, but in English. It is about 14 years old, first came in theatre in London in 1993, soon spread around the world. It is called Les Miserables, from French great writer Hugo's novel as is for the Notre Dame de Paris. Don Juan has a lot of spanish music tint because of the spanish backgroun of the story, Notre Dame french flavour while Les Miserables, music written by English people, it is very English. But they are all great and beautiful with differnet flavours. I love them. I have them copied in my computer and I can listen to them whenever!
Luckily I won tickets in 1999 for this Notre Dame de Paris and watched this music play. It is again very different from listening to it.
There is another beautiful music play called Don Juan. I bought the CD for my son 2,3 years ago. Now my son is here and we listened to it still often now together in the car. Great music!!!!
