社区中心应提供何种服务给广大妇女

姐妹们, 大家请发言来谈谈, 你希望社区中心应提供何种服务给广大妇女呢? 又或者你有什么需求呢? 比如说, 妇女卫生和健康, 妇女生育和幼儿教育, 妇女如何就业或做生意, 法律顾问, 等等.

我的一个社工朋友在一家社区中心工作, 中心为了能更好的为大家服务, 我帮他们的忙了解一下我们的情况.

I'm not big on coupon/sample, I'm sure there are many more free samples and coupons out there, ESPECIALLY for babies. Good luck and have fun!

雀巢奶粉 :confused: 可能你需要的是学习如何让你的宝宝喝这边的奶粉 :rolleyes: 找找靠近你家的 CLSC 的护士，她们可能能够解答。

其他同学如有国内的雀巢奶粉或有其他本土品牌的奶粉样品，麻烦看看有没有方法帮忙！

宝宝刚过来，没有换好奶粉，现在国内喝的雀巢奶粉没有了，这边的奶粉宝宝不喝，谁有国内的奶粉吗？

朋友说，免费法语新班即将开始（2012年1月23日或之前登记）。现在有初级和中级两个级别。似乎探亲/访客和国际学生也可以加入，全是免费的。但只限于女性申请。可以带婴儿/儿童，有免费 daycare( ~日间护理)。

另一魁瓜特产 ==> Pantoufle 是一种在室内穿的软鞋，也可以称为拖鞋。自己织的比从店里买的厚许多倍。在拖鞋的家族里，我们也发现了著名的夏朗德省。(<= 我之前在说什么？！ :confused: ）

n年前我突发奇想，想给 Mr. MP 织一对做圣诞礼物，但不记得怎么织。。。

。。。跑去最接近家的一个妇女中心，骗了一个八十多岁的魁瓜大妈教我织。。。。。还骗了。。。骗了。。。大织针s + 小织针s + 线球n个 (够织2双拖鞋) + + + :p

那个线球称为 Phentex 3 ply(3.2 oz), 是一种特殊的材料(纤维)，不容易擦破。（正常毛衣的线，很快会在拖鞋底部摩个大洞洞的

）

提醒同学们： Pantoufle 是很容易+很快织好的，在圣诞节和新年前，你还有足够的时间去编织一对。我现在回家织第二对，哈！

Centres raise alarm as calls for overnight beds rise

Women's shelters in Quebec say they are seeing a disturbing jump in the number of elderly women who are showing up on their doorsteps. The trend is part of an overall increase in the demand for beds by women in the province, according to shelter directors.

Montreal's Le Chaînon shelter has been turning women away at night for the first time in decades. The 12 available emergency beds are usually reserved within minutes after Le Chaînon opens its phone lines.

"They are very old — people around 70 years old are showing up here. It's hard for them to be at a shelter at their age," said Louise Leroux, a caregiver at the shelter.

Le Chaînon estimates that 300 more women have sought the shelter's services this year compared to last year. . . . . . . . . Duhamel said the increase is particularly worrying because it started during the summer when demand is usually low. She worries about what will happen as winter approaches.
