Can Monthly pass for May be used in June 1st?

Yes, at least in the morning. I have the experience.

So far I have been able to use it on bus in the morning
on the first day of a month
but there is no official policy to allow it.
The bus drivers are within their right to refuse the old pass.
I haven't tried it in Metro station.
I guess the pass machine would reject it.
