Not enought pressure inside the brake system. This could be
a serious problem regarding to the safty. Go to the garage
as soon as possible for an inspection.

"Hand brake" do you mena that?
Hand brake, or emergency brake light.
Not a big problem. Just check the hand-brake light switch or the
linkage between the handle and cable, do some necessary adjustment.

check your brake fluid level as well. Posible brake fluid leaking can cause the brake alert light on.
