You can get the daycare lists from CLSC, then phone all daycares you want to put your child in. If you are lucky, just one or weeks, you will get a position, otherwise, you will be in the long waiting list. Just keep contact with daycares, sooner or later,you will get one.

that is exactly true. September is the annual time for the graduation and upgrading, so if I were you, I'll contact them intensively from now on, sometimes even show up in person.

Tell them how you need the daycare badly, and once they have the chance, they will contact you. Another tip is that better write down the time that you've registered for your kid. It is quite useful for futher tracking when the waitting list is as long as years. Or, in another case, if you want to switch your kid to another daycare.
