According to the MMM program coordinator, the placement statistics is based on 100% graduates. Besides, there is only about 25% of native Canadians in this program, the rest 75% of the student body are immigrants or international students from China, Mexico, Iran, Japan, Korea and other countries.
Each year, the size of the class is about 15. Therefore, the placement pressure is relatively small compared with 150 MBA graduates.
I personally believe, this program has promising future in both Canada and China.
As far as I know, McGill is one of the only five universities in the world that provide this professional study in Operations in Manufacturing. The other four are Northwest, MIT, one in Germany and one in Sweden. |
