Concordia's DIS(Digital Image Sound & The Fine Arts Program is one of the 1st Digital Mutimedia program in Ca.It is A combination of Computer application program and Fine Arts program. It means you have to complete the 2 majors which are both seperate program respctively.It can be registered in both CS and FA.But the difficulty to be accepted is obviously. So far there are only 2 to 4 Chinese in the program since it started.
It is also very tough to get through all of the courses in 3 years.
Anyway, it is really an exciting and, of course, a challenging program.

portfolio重要的不是数量而是质量.但不一定是必须GRAPHICS方面的,也可以是音乐,VIDEO创作等方面的.
如果是单纯美术作品,那是要有一定水准和数量.假如你能用portfolio证明你同时有一个以上几个方面的才能,你的机会肯定要大些.
此外,如果你作品偏GRAPHIC,我建议你最好有3D,ANIMATION方面的作品,这是非常重要的.

另外再提醒一句,康大ＤＩＳ是双ＭＡＪＯＲ，就是说必须同时修完计算机课和艺术方面的课．而仅计算机方面的课，即相当于最多中国学生修的COMPUTER APPLICATION一个专业.两面作战,要有思想准备..
