Do we have a long weekend here in Montreal at all in the first week of August? I had that before I moved to Montreal. Some people told me no such long weekend here. My friends in Toronto said they had. Can any one clarify this for me? :confused:

Civic Day in August is celebrated in other provinces except Quebec. In quebec, the St. John the Baptist Day in June is celebrated instead.

I like to play badminton too. I am wondering if there are some people who like to play badminton as a regular base, like once or twice every week depending on our work and studies?

If there are enough people who like to play badminton, why don't we orgnize a club of our own?
