Assume you are paid by check (not cash under the table), then you can go to make a complaint at the Employment Center.
When you are fired, your employer must issue you a document with the reason of employment termination. You have the right to make the explantaion and you will still be entitled to unemployment insurance - if you have accumulated enough hours. However the employment center can not penalize your employer.
To do so, you must hire a lawyer and file a complaint at the Employment Tribunal (ask the employment center for the contact info). In your complaint, you must sue him for compensation. However you must support your case with witness. Otherwise you will not win the case.
I was called upon as a witness, therefore I know the process |
