Is there any friend in Montreal has the experience for citizenship application? My questions are:

1)How long you have waited after submitted the application till written exam?

2)How long you waited after exam till took the oral ceremony?

3)How can you check your application status? by website?

4)If you took finger print, when did that requested?

Since I plan to leave Montreal after I submit the application and let my friend to look after it for me, I need to confirm estimate return date.

The immigration center told me it takes 10-12 months, but I know normally it is shorter than it.
