In China, it’s awkward to talk about sex; but here, I have to face it in many daily conversations. I’m living in a big apartment with 2 girls, besides being roommates, we are very closed friends as well. So we talk about food, weather, sex, G-spot…everything!
In the old tradition, we believe that sex is sin, sex is guilty, sex is evil, we should be ashamed to have sexual feelings…we believe so many lies about sex that we don’t enjoy sex! These beliefs go against human nature because the human body is made for sex. We are a biological, sexual being, and that is just the way it is.
But today is totally the reverse! Love, sex, everything is just like fast food! One-night-stands, sexual partners… we don’t even need a marriage contract to make our sex legal, our bodies are free to do whatever we want! Well, it’s Ok as long as you really enjoy it but we don’t need to follow it because that’s the “new fashion”.
Everything in this world is about belief!
Humans accumulate a lot of knowledge. We learn all those beliefs, morals, and rules from our family, society, religion and we base most of our behavior and feelings on them. We don’t have much choice, because all of these are already there before we’ve been born, we are forced to accept them and then domesticate our children in the same way.
Generation by generation, we changed slowly, we broke old rules, and built up new ones to control us. But we just don’t realize that all the knowledge are lies! We don’t need to be manipulated by all the lies we created.
Don’t believe these! Don’t believe what others said! Don’t even believe me! But only believe yourself; believe what your heart tells you! You are the only one knows what is the best for you!
I have my belief for sex and love which is only right for me!
In my world, sex has to come with love. With the one you love, each touch, each kiss, and the sex will be wonderful as a song, a dance, an art! So before he touches my body, he has to touch my heart first!
I have a very open mind, but open mind doesn’t mean to open the body! I believe that sex is very important in couples lives, and I believe that it’s not wise at all to get body involved too fast! The body has sexual needs, plus the animal being has an instinct of warm need. When we get that close to a body, all these needs will come out to confuse your observation and judgment to that person.
I don’t need to drink alcohol, go out with a man, and wake up in the morning with regret, I don’t need to try, because I believe that’s really not what I want, so I’d never do this to myself! I believe people who indulge in these sexual games, they have a hole in their hearts, but they don’t know what exactly they’re missing, they try to please themselves in this primitive way and forget that there are many things in our lives that we could use to fill up our hearts.
These are my beliefs about sex, which are only right for me but may be totally wrong for you.
But that’s Ok! Everyone has their own beliefs, which make humans unique. There is no right or wrong or good or bad. My beliefs make me as “me”, make my “Sherryness”!
So don’t look all around to see what others doing or saying, put your head down, focus on yourself, you will hear what your heart says!
All I can say to you is, “that’s your body, you are the boss; it’s your life, do only what you feel comfortable doing! The rest is all lies!”
