现在在网上查不到进度了，我全家3人一起申请的（2007，3），但只有我老婆收到7/31的考试信，信上没有我的名字，不知是不是一起去考就行了？

马上就要考试了，发现中国护照过期3个多月了，不知会不会影响入籍？不知大家是否有此经历？

application sent to montreal office: 22 jun 2007

After 15 months waiting, called CIC and got the following reply.
Montreal office cant make it in the 1 year time frame after my background check.
Redid background check: july 2008
Doc will send to montreal office again.
Expected citizenship test in Dec 2008

but i think this still depends on the speed of montreal office)
still a few months to wait.

Anyone else has the same scenario?

My case is earlier about 2 weeks than your case, but I have received the letter for testing. It took me about 16 months from applying date to testing date. I think you won't be long. Maybe you will have the result in 1 month. Good luck!

The next letter may be testing letter. You must wait for a long time, it is better that you forget it temporarily. Normally more than one year.
