意思就是说:比如你7月找到8月入住的房子,现在要求签订租约的话,房东可能就要求房客支付第一月房租;或者8月1日签订房租时,房东就要求房客支付第一个月房租(如房客不支付,就可不签租约)。
你说的什么定金和押金根本就没提到。
