wow 不错，我还在动摇 要不要换公司，因为没安装前 取消 是不收违约金的。老想 tkesavvy 的 Ultimate Cable 30 - Unlimited - $69.95。相比价格差一倍，这个8M性价比高很多的。

没contract， 按月付， modem免费。 一年contract， modem 和router 免费。

Modem: Motorola 5101
Router: TP-LINK TL-WR740N

Modem是旧的，Router全新。

迅雷下载最大可以到700kB/s，一般稳定在300-400kB/s。

如果你愿意，甚至可以签两年无限流量的合同。
如果不追求免费modem/router和无限流量，electronicbox的价格/带宽、口碑更给力。

ok, i get both computers to get a local ip address, one from usb and the other from ethernet.


they can both ping each other.
however, once i plug coax in, in linux or windows, one gets knocked off the local network and the other gets the cable modems ip address.
what to do?

早上去他们公司刚拿回 5101N modem 与WR740N 路由。都是新的。

下月安装。希望他们近期有 30M 不限量的计划，到时我想升级上去。

我知道videotron可以登录个人账户看流量，这样可以防备不测的使用量。还有哪家能在网上看使用流量？

我是这样想的：要无限量，必然有限制。如果又快，又无限制，那么完全可以用一些垃圾应用产生无限的垃圾流量，瘫痪网络。
