数额很小,但觉得也许不该罚,反正输了也不加钱,就算长长见识.

经过很简单,由NEWMAN 右转到BVL TRINITARIE, 再到Angrinon地铁十字路口(BVL TRINITARIE和IRWIN) 左转做了个U Turn, 警察说不能U Turn.

问了公司同事大多认为应该可以U Turn. 注: 路口指示牌明确显示可以左转和直行(但不可以右转,右转是地铁总站只有公车可进).而且没有禁止U Turn的牌子.  也有一人人为只能直行和左转.不能U Turn

我想明确一点就是允许左转和没有禁止U Turn是否证明可以U Turn.

另外 警察的罚单上的说明有明显错误: 说我没有遵守信号的指示直行或右转(错:此路口不可右转只可左转)

结论是: 如果有POSTED SIGN (本例子中那个只许直行和左转的牌子), 即使没有禁止U TURN的牌子, 也不可U TURN.

"U" Turns at intersections and between intersections

The  "U"- turn can be considered a violation as described in article 310 of  the Highway Safety Code, which stipulates that all drivers must obey  posted signs. A driver cannot do a U-turn at an intersection where a  sign prohibits it or on a road marked with a solid line since it is  prohibited to cross such a line. On the other hand, the "U"- turn is  authorized at intersections where there is no sign prohibiting it.

那么禁止U TURN的牌子用在何处呢? 一个只有红绿灯的十字路口可以直行,左右转,和U TURN. 如果只允许直行和左右转的话就加上一个禁止U TURN牌.

没明白你是怎么得出这个结论的，根据上面的英语应该是在有禁令标志的路口和直线马路上是禁止掉头，其他情况都是可以掉头的。看来得问问3DVRD吧。

在只允许直行or/and左or右转的路口，排除了准许掉头的可能，为什么还要多此一举立一个禁止掉头的牌呢？——楼主朋友可以想下这个逻辑

前面QC已经解释过，圆圈内一个直行箭头和左转箭头的交通标志，就是prohibiting “U”-turn。明白了吗？

前天在另外一个类似的路口问了一个警察居然说可以U TURN, 因为可以左转.看来这是个很含糊的问题啊
顺便补充下:没有扣分.
另外据说有这种可能: 警察没扣分,上庭后法官追加扣分,不知是否有这可能?
