7月4日结束的四星级的马来西亚公开赛是奥运会前的最后一次公开赛，除韩国队外，其余各强队均派出最强阵容参战。
将头号种子林丹淘汰出局的是上一轮战胜了印度尼西亚名将索尼的韩国新锐朴成焕，他获胜的比分是１５：１２和１５：５。４号种子鲍春来面对８强中惟一的东道主选手、１３号种子李宗伟，以１０：１５和１１：１５败北。

２号种子陈宏和６号种子夏煊泽分别以２：０和２：１淘汰了丹麦老将拉斯姆森和新加坡第一高手苏西洛, 跻身男单４强之列。

由于前一轮２号种子蔡趕／付海峰意外出局，男双８强中仅剩６号种子桑洋／郑波这一对中国组合。但在争夺４强席位时，他们以９：１５和１３：１５负于东道主头号组合李万华／钟腾福。获得男双４强另３个席位的是印尼、丹麦和东道主球员。

Lee Chong Wei, the joint ninth seed, secured a convincing 15-10, 15-11 win in 46 minutes in the quarter-finals to stop Bao Chunlai. After a close battle in the initial stages of the first game, Chunlai was penalised for the first time when his racquet was adjudged to have gone over the net while attempting to kill a net shot. This gave Chong Wei a 12-9 lead. Chunlai argued with the umpire and lost his concentration. Chong Wei raced to a 14-11 lead and as Chunlai desperately unleashed a sideline smash to save the game, his shot was called out by the linesman. The call gave Chong Wei the first game and this time, Chinese coach Yong Bo joined his player to protest against the decision but it was overruled by Young Sik. Chong Wei took a 1-0 lead in the second game and another tap at the net by Chunlai was faulted by Young Sik and Chunlai swung his racquet to the net in anger. Young Sik flashed the yellow card to Chunlai who lost his head and handed the match to the Malaysian without much of a fight. Chunlai, however, staged a momentary fightback when he reduced the deficit from 12-4 to 12-8 but Chong Wei composed himself to win the second game 15-11. Lee Chong Wei will meet Chunlai's compatriot Chen Hong in the last four today. Chen Hong defeated Ronald Susilo of Singapore 15-9, 15-11 in the quarter-finals.

"I kept the shuttle low and this did not allow Chunlai to control the rallies. I also opted to slow down the game when leading 12-4 to get a breather but it did not hamper my performance. I have lost to Chen Hong in my previous to meetings and I will give my best shot tomorrow (semi-finals)." Chong Wei lost to Chen Hong in the 2001 Asian Championships in Bangkok and the Malaysia Open final last year but the former could spring another surprise today. Meanwhile, World No 1 Lin Dan was shocked 15-12, 15-5 by South Korean back-up shuttler Park Sung Hwan. South Korean coach Sun Hang Kuk heaped praises for his young protege who downed Lin Dan convincingly. Sung Hwan will take on world campion Xia Xuanze of China in the semi-finals. Xuanze edged former world champion Peter Rasmussen of Denmark 15-12, 12-15, 15-6 in the quarter-finals.

最近正琢磨如何杀死马，明明活马我都能驾御，可这匹死马就是无法对付。经过一个星期研究，总算有眉目了，现在已经有机会干掉死马了，不像第一次交手明显感觉让球。至于其他的事，暂时没有什么目标动力去做。x和老梗都是老对手了，我还会经常切磋，但都是为了验证新打法，胜负并不重要。反正我是暂时退隐江湖了。不过，双打我还是会打的，总不能让我的新排挡失望。老梗，你要是能把单打拿下，我就帮你锦上添花，要不雪中送炭也行！

盛夏来临，强烈运动后过多的体液流失总会对食欲有一定影响，个人有一些推荐，希望大家会喜欢。
1。西瓜水
制作方法与功效和冬瓜水一样，相信不用多说了，个人偏好调成甜的，冰镇后饮用感觉更爽。大家吃完大西瓜，皮可不要浪费哦！
2。瑶柱鸡粥
制作要点：提前把鸡弄成连骨的小块，下酒和调料腌制半天，瑶柱粥底完成后加入鸡块，八成熟收火，保持鸡肉鲜嫩。最后调味一定要加一点糖，能更好带出鲜味。
