I am looking for 100 men and women (50 men and 50 women) who are 20-40 years old from mainland China (not including Taiwan and Hong Kong) and who are university students. You will be paid 7 dollars for participating in a study on the attitudes of Chinese people towards learning English. You will need to come to the laboratory at Concordia University for about one hour.
You will need to fill out a questionnaire and listen to recordings of Chinese people reading a story in English and in Chinese. If you want to
participate, you should e-mail Michael at  mmagid@hotmail.com  telling me where you are from in China, your age, and whether you are a man or
woman. You should also tell me when you can come to meet me at Concordia. The best times are in the afternoon at 2 or 3 o'clock, but it is possible to arrange to meet at another time. The study will begin in about two weeks, but please
e-mail me as soon as possible. Thank you!
