The wording, "serve" looks and sounds awful and terrifying here. Actually, it is that the bridge players enjoy the game, while the non-bridge players amuse themselves with whatever is available.

说句真心话,我们这些牌友(包括我家的对桥牌一窍不通的老婆孩子)半年多来对这种"侍候"毫无倦意且乐在其中,再说大陆新移民的素质还是很高的,况且又是桥牌这种高雅娱乐,怎么会有普通意义的"侍候"呢?你说对不对?!欢迎你想享受生活的时候也来"侍候侍候"?!!!哈哈哈......
I am not nervous, and I don't see any reason that I should be nervous. The first sight of your wording impressed me with the abuse of the Chinese language. Abuse of a language could, by no means nor in any circumstance, be defined as the power of the words or phrases. If any, the illiterates will all be entitled to great writers. Maybe you have been in Canada too long, and that makes you lose your Chinese language ability.
The secretary-general, once more, is a kidding. You have shown your great enthusiasm in our activities, and perhaps that position is for you, though probably you have never shown up, but definitely, that position requires at least good command of the Chinese language.
May I ask to stop coming out any word that does not show respect to each other ? Mr. Downtown, we don't know who you are exactly so far. Probably you have been with us before. I love the part time club simply because it is a nice place for fun. People need friends around. As a result I find it really a nice place to know more people, for friendship. Like Bill Ding said, nice for the kids as well. There are no chairman, no secratary in general, other than friends who love to kill time with one another. Many people have done a lot of contributions to make it happen, especially Mr.& Mrs. Bill Ding, William, Patrick, Weir .... No matter if or not you have been with us before, you are always welocome as long as you are pleased to join us, and show respect to one another.
