Considering that it was the first time that you showed yourself up last Saturday in bridge activity after your trip back to Montreal from China, many bridge friends played moderately when they met with you. Be careful, next time, it would be completely a different story! At least you would have surprising challenges from ChinaStory's pair, TigerR's, ... . Don't look down upon Downtown, his existence is a big and potential menace to your "first place". There is enough for you to suffer!

It is so nice to see that we had so many bridge participants attending last Saturday's activity. Enjoy every moment of yours in this activity!!!

Latest news:

The final of CNTC (Canadian National Team Championship) just finished. The boss of the leMirage Club where I used to play last year, Mr. Kamel Fergani and his teammates won the title!(Flight A)

The interesting result is for CNTC flight B. The champion team seems come from China, where we can see from their names, like: "William Ge, Philip Chen, Gary Ge, Vancouver, BC; Runlu Wang, Delta, BC; Shi Yan, Vancouver, BC ". Since this CNTC was hold in BC province, could we imagine that these guys play also usually in a big Park of Vancouver every Saturday Afternoon (maybe from 1pm to 6pm)?

More info in : http://www.cbf.ca/BWeek/

Enjoy the reading.

Hi FM Chen ---

As it is going to rain tomorrow, we can't go with bridge game at Angrignon park. In view that some are going to take part in the Montreal Swiss contest the Sunday after next week, you think it is a good idea to go to some bridge club for sort of a rehearsal ? If so, kindly post the address of the club you recommend. I think everybody of us can go to the same club if s/he is looking to be around tomorrow.

Charlie,

That's a good idea. Why not go to the LeMirage Club? I just called it and it's opened tomorrow, at 13:00PM.

Here it is:
9001 boul.de l'Acadie, #106, Montréal, H4N 3H5 (9001 Acadie street)
Tél.514) 858-5611

Usually it's 6$ per session (24 hands) and takes about 3hrs30 (MP match). However if we got Odd pair (like the last Saturday, we had 9 pairs), the North-South will play only 22 or 21 hands.

Free cafe and biscuit will be offered.

There are many free parkings behind this building.
How to drive: Take highway 40 and exit Acadie North. Once you are in Acadie, drive about 1km (seems 2 traffic lights), you'll see a big blue building in the Right. Turn right just before it and go to the parking behind it.

No people will wait for others. The game will begin just in time. Don't be late, else you'll even find little dificult to enter the building.
