There is a regular weekly social(ballroom) dance in the same location
in the evening from 6:30pm to 10pm every Saturday in the summer.

There is no class for this weekly event.
You just go there to dance.

There are only 3 swing dance parties at noon on Saturday
at Verdun Parc,
one in June, one in July and the last one on Sept 11

For this one, there is a free swing dance class for beginners at noon.
The next one is Sept 11.

I don't know where can I open my private mailbox,So I talk to you here.This three weeks,I am very busy for the job and living room.I didn't dance for two weeks untill this Sunday.I quit the job again in this morning,so I don't know what happen yet.Now,I can't dance with the lady.Anyway,thank you about taking care about me.

On the third floor.
There is a kindergarden beside it.
Take Metro Green Line and get off at Guy-Concordia,
Exit is St.Mathew.

Helloman, thanks for your information.  I went there with my friends but we were a bit disappointed with the music (just my own preference and nothing offensive).  Although the music wasn't very good,  there were some nice dancers there.  My friends and I saw two outstanding girls whom we are quite interested in knowing them as friends.  One was wearing white no sleeve shirt and long skirt, quite tall and the other was wearing a grey skirt who was also quite tall too.  Both were sitting close to the DJ. Hope we could see them again or they could contact us or leave their emails.  Thanks

I hope that you practiced your steps to your heart's content in the party.
Did you have a chance to dance with the 2 girls ?

Regarding the music, what don't you like specifically ?
If you can make some specific points or suggestions,
maybe the organizers can accomodate and make the party better next time.
Is it the song/music selection ?
Too old ? Beats not clear ? Uninspiring melody ? Not very danceable ?
How about the sound system ?
The sound not clear and crispy ?
The volume or the base are not adjusted properly ?
The CD player frequently skips, leading to annoying interruptions ?
The pause is too long between songs, causing the party momentum to falter ?
Too many songs of the same nature(3 waltz songs in a row) are played consecutively ?
Repeat the same songs serveral times in the party ?

Hi Helloman, I did pratice my steps a bit there with my friends but I didn't have a chance to dance with the girls. Just my own opinion, the musics were a bit uninspiring and too many songs for 快三 in a row. Also, the music, for example, for ChaChaCha dance was a bit too old and slow. I myself like old Chinese musics too but sometimes we need to put some new inspiring musicss,especially like ChaChaCha, Rumba,Merengue,Salsa, Merengue and so on. Combination of old and new songs is always the best to change the atmosphere on the dance floor. I always hope that Friend's Club can do successfully and attract more dancers or dancelovers like us. I believe that many people will have the same feeling as mine. By the way, Helloman, are you one of the organizers or a friend of organizers? Were you there last Saturday? Thanks
