A friend of mine used to be on Sprint, paid about $36 per month. (2 additonal features included whether u use it or not. Further details, call Sprint.)
Eventually, my friend spent about $50 for activation to Bell, monthly fee is ~$26 or $30. My friend just want basic phone line.
If u need/want "features", it will be cheaper to go with sprint.
Sprint business local phone is much cheaper than Bell, but for the residential service, it is same price with their business service.
I talked with the market manager of Sprint in Toronto before, he told me Bell lost a lot of money on the residential service, Bell earned money only from the features and business costumers, Sprint didnt want to pay more attention on the residential service, their focus is on the commercial costumers.
