I think it will be stopped, since you should send the government a letter or make a call every twoo weeks to have the pay every two weeks. If you leave, how can you do it?
Check the Parental EI brochure, you'll find the answer. I think it'll be okay to get paid even you leave Canada, but you still have to report your absence. It's different from regular EI.
