To be honest, it was my first thought to take advantage of PC to do the job. But I kicked it out at the very first stage. You know why? Because it is not viable for the most people here.

Your VGA to PAL and NTSC converter (make it short as VGA/TV card) can only output TV signal, you need to buy other cards like PCTV card to be able to input from your camcorder. Your solution is not complete at all. I won't buy this card just for the purpose in this topic. That's why I said she can have her video transferred to VCD by commercial service. In fact, you can buy the necessary cards to do the VCD by yourself. But personally, I won't choose to do that.

Would you like to take the risk that the card may not work at all after you spend a lot of private time? Maybe you are a circuit fan, but I am not." V* \6 M! b0 `- l" Y# `3 e
3. It is not viable for the most people to make a card by DIY. Unless you happen to be able to take advantage your working facilities. I am not, are you?

After all, I know people who are already doing the job following my VHS/VCD solution. Concerning myself, I bought a NTSC digital camcorder. Can you tell me if you happen to know any people following or will be following your solution? Will you do it by your solution yourself if you happen to be in this situation? I am confident that the answer is NO, but I won't bet with you. I was trying to help people with viable solutions and I hate wasting my time to fight with you. Let's finish here and no more fight.
