请教何时开始报税

因有急事要回国，想临走前把今年的税报了，因为不知是否能在4月1日报税截止日前赶回来，报税的起始日大约是多少号了。另：如果真的错过了报税，有什么后果呢？如何解决？多谢！

Yes you can file your income tax return now if you have already known your income for the year of 2001, the dead line for filing the income tax return is April 30th. not April 1st., if you missed the dead line and you owe governments money you will pay the penalties, but if you don't owe money, then you're fine.
