Found some info about the contest schedule
The contest :
The McGILL IDOL contest is a Talent Show which will be held each Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night at 7h30 p.m. at Gert’s Bar from February 7th until March 30th, 2005. Each night, 6 to 10 performers will be invited to show off their particular talent and the audience will vote for their favorite performance
Note: There will be no activities during the school break week.
Talents :
All variety of talents are welcomed : All talents full speed ahead!!!. Single or groups.
Prizes :
The winners will receive a cash prize of $100.00 and will be eligible for the semi-finals. The winners of these semi-finals will receive a second prize in the amount of $100.00 and will participate in the grand finals. The winner of the finals will win a grand prize of $1,000.00.

The wild card winners (voted by judges) will be invited to perform that night. 2 winners will be voted by the audience and 1 winner will be voted by the judges. We will have 3 winners that night.
March 21st is the night for the 1st place winners. Again we will have 3 winners (2 voted by audience and 1 voted by the judges).
On March 31st, the finals begin at The Shatner Ball Room and the 6 winners will perform in front of the audience who will vote for the top 2 winners. These top 2 winners will perform a second time and the audience will vote the the 1st place winner. What a night this will be!!!</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
