  One of my friend is applying to sponsor
his wife to immigrate to Canada.  He's
asked to provide following documents that
he's not quite clear:

1) Certified true copy of the Record Landing
6 J: ?3 {! t% a% g  (IMM1000)
& E' \7 @% r& Z0 i8 J2) Certified true copy of all the pages of
  any passport or travel document sponsor
) P9 T: d+ r. Q( q$ x   has used to travel to China.
7 T# o) m/ O/ N* C3 F# A3) Notarized photocopy of spnsor's complete
8 ]" W% I  T9 ~! M   passport. All entries and stampls should
   be legible.

( ~! e  ]) V- V; v- J/ T   By which agency can these legal(?) be
5 d) X9 ^* |  [5 G: Z0 _) d7 Uobtained? Or just provide the photocopy
of them?

Find a Chinese newspaper and call those immigration agents an ask them if they can do it. Most of them can do it.

Just go directly to any notary office, have all your documents stamped. You'd better call them and ask the price, but there would be a big difference.
