Not sure if you have the learner's permit...

But if you do have, the driving practice in Montreal City Motor League is not bad. I took the course there for 12 hrs driving, the price is $420 (tax incl.). If you have 2 people enrol together, you should be able to get this price!

The instructor was kind and nice, basically you would finish everything you need for the road test after 7 hours, then you have 4 hrs to go to H.B. for driving there to be familiar with the road condition there.

The instructor will tell you how he thinks about your driving skill at last and he won't ask you to register for more hours if you are good enough. At least he didn't think it's necessary for me to practise more even I knew nothing about driving before.

HOPE最让人不舒服的就是有那么几个接待小姐,在你注册之前态度非常好,一旦你注册交钱,态度马上就变了,变得让你觉得恶心.而且,奇怪的是,他们跟你签的合同,竟然只有他们自己有一份,等你交完钱了,想回过头来检查一下协议内容,却没有地方可看了.

我和我的邻居都正在HOPE学车，感觉多数中国教练挺好的。不过，期望值也别太高，反正12个小时对大多数人是不够的。

1. I am not doing ads for Hope, as they are not paying me for it. :cool: but like I have mentioned, it is CHEAP, I never expect to have a good service based on the price, 12 hours with less than 200. moreover, I never actually even read the agreement. anyways, the relation between I and the driving school ends after completing 12 hours practice. (11.5 indeed, the last hour is 'evaluation' which only take 30 min) and last, I never mind they call me to cancel the schedule. as long as it's done one day before.

2. To janny, if you want to know some good private instructors, I do have one. My wife and I learned from him and I think he is great. my wife had never driven before, but get the liscence with only one attempt. however, again, I don't wanna be his agant, wink if you want, I can email you his phone number, provide your email address is given.
