the deadline for the winter term has past. for fall term is March 1st.
But do not hope you can improve you English if you can not speak English with your Chinese friends. There are many Chinese in colleges and training schools also.
it is a good way to improve your english,i agree with you, english is more important than a so-called degree.
even some people are learning english in the high school, and the tuition is not very expensive,as i know, it will cost you around 100.00 cad/term
so,it is a good deal!

English is nothing but a 'BS', to my understanding, in terms of job searching, similar to so called local experience. Comparatively professional skills or experiences count much more. An interviewer most likely turns up to speak in terrible English with a stronge accent. So professional background is more critical, eventhough profound English is always a plus.
I am glad to get any chance sharpen this plus coz it deteriorates since I moved up here to Montreal.
