好象凡是本科学生都要靠UWT的, 不管有没有TOEFL成绩. 还有我考了一次UWT, 过了. 这不是大家想象中那么难, 但是要注意结构, 避免语法错误. 考前写两片文章让english assistance地方的人改改, 好象是在H大楼4楼还是6楼, 地址忘了. 可以去学生会问一下.

去学生会问一下, 好象应该叫writing assistant. 要提前预约. 每周好象可以有两次辅导,每次一小时左右.
Thanks. hem, it sounds a little troublesome. I thought it was like you drop in a piece of paper, then come back some time later to pick it up with correction done.
I don't know how 留学生 works but for regular undergraduate students you have to pass UWT before earning 30 credits otherwise you cannot graduate even if you finished all 90 credits.
You only have 2 attempts to pass UWT, if you don't pass after 2nd time then u have to tak a placement test and they will place you in the appropriate level according to your sample essay. If they place you in ENGL 212 and you get C- or better, you automatically pass the UWT. ENGL 212 is a regular 3 credit elective.是算credit 的！
UWT is hard to pass, what they said is true, 3 errors and u fail. So guys if you think you cannot pass it then it's better to take ENGL 212 or lower courses, 反正就当elective courses 拿，又可以加强自己英文水平。
