我现在已收到麦大science和management的录取,同时还在等UT science的通知.如果我也能被UT录取,我该如何取舍呢? 看到很多关于UT和MCGILL的争论,不知哪一个更好一些.UT的排名靠前,但我申请的是SCARBOUROUGH的分校,害怕它的教学质量不如主校区好,而且TORONTO的中国人多得可怕;也有很多人说mcgill比UT差很多.我真的很犹豫,还望各位学长多多指教!bow先!

当然还是UT了，教学质量其实没有那么大差距，但UT的钱可是比麦大多多了， 钱在上学期间可是很重要的，至于大家争论不休的排名其实鬼子倒没有分那么清楚， 因为这两个学校都是TOP5的。

McGill is the same as U of T !

Both UT and McGill are good. UT gets more money than Mcgill. Well, the reason is UT is much bigger than McGill. Tuition in UT is higher than in McGill. So as living expense in Toronto than in Montreal.
My suggestion is to ask students directly in those schools, see what they said about their schools. Make your own decision.

branche in Missisaga is part of UT.The tuition for science students is not high.U of T boasts the best.

McGill is famous for medicine-related science. Others fields, however, are far behind UT.

pannv,u r completely wrong,actually, both of them are good.U of T at Mississauga and Scarbourg are not really good like u think, also in the main campus, not every major is better than McGill ,or like u said "far behind". U don't know the nowadays' situation. Don't blow here!

I am the student being to both McGill and UofT. I did my under in Immunology in McGill and my MSc supervisor was recruited by UofT from McGill Neurology. The thing is definitely UofT is more rich than McGill recently, but the most important of grants and funding is depend on the supervisor and lab but not School. eventhough, richer university may have better facility in certain field. I am doing medical related research, I found McGill is as good as UofT. To me i like McGill more since UofT is like a institute and many of the labs and departments are isolated and cold to eachother. McGill is like a big family. Also, the new election of the mayer may be benifit to McGill education. the new principle of McGILL may lead to new atmosphere. Anyway, I am comming back to McGill for PhD in Neurology
