Welcome to join McGill..I may not be older than you as a "elderclassmate" you called la. But i did my undergraduate in McGill with Dr, David Kaplan in MNI (Montreal Neurological Institute), he is a famous Molecular Neurobiologest about TrK and Neurotrophin signaling yo. Anyway, I got accepted by McGill as PhD in departmetn of Neurology and Neurosurgery by september. if you have any question, I can try to answer you as much as I can. Take care
