I`ve heard the CDs. This band is good.

The band will play in the park behind Berri-UQAM metro station on St. Catherine street

at 9:30pm this Sunday night.

It is worth checking out.

RICARDO LEMVO & MAKINA LOCA
Congolese Rumba and spicy Cuban salsa collide, as long-time festival favourite Ricardo Lemvo and Makina Loca make a celebrated return to Montreal with this mind-blowing closing concert. Offering up an intense performance in the tradition of the Cuban and Congolese big bands, highlighted by dancing, lots of dancing, Lemvo et.al. demonstrate to the fullest the fusion of two cultures and two musics.

It is part of the free outdoor program of the African music festival this weekend.
