Hi, everyone! i really need your help, anybody knows or has experience, can you tell me this subject. my situation is as follows.
My wife and i are proceeding to divorce. However, we have not legally separated because we live under same house. Due to financial reason, i am not able to move out and rent an apartment. We are selling our house. After the house is sold, we can separate and rent own apartment. Do friends know how to split assetts? I know that property, furniture, car and RRSP/pension plan have to split equally. We have own bank accounts and mutual funds, do we have to pool the money and split equally? if yes, when does a judge calculate the time to split? from the date of separation or from the date of legal divorce (one year later)? I appreciate very much anybody tell me info here or send me emails for discussion (cloudrain2005@hotmail.com) thank you in advance. |
