Today I received an email from the CS department, telling me that I was not admitted to the master program at this moment. However, I can register as an independent student to study some graduate courses, my case will be re-evaluated after I take these courses.

Is there anybody who have the similiar situation with me? Please share your experience.

I have not received rejection letter from CS department, but I believe I must be rejected this session. How much is your GPA? At this time, many students transfered from independent program or Diploma program or undergraduate program, few space availble for new applicant in gradate program. Maybe selecting some courses is a wise choice,apparently,this can certify your ability without other evidence.They do not have to evaluate if your TOEFL/GPA/reference letters can stand for your ability, they have enough source to select potential student they know in their current program.

No news is good news, wxx. Maybe you have been recommended to their master program. Don't give up. I don't know whether cs master program is much more difficult than other program, but it seems too difficult for me to get into. This afternoon I meet the graduate program staffs, they told me that I need to register for at least two graduate courses in summer term, and get at least A to be elgible for re-evaluation. What a tough job! I do not study the Pre-Requisites courses and I just came here for a month, I am not sure whether I can understand what the lecturer say. Even worse, there are only courses availble in the second summer term, and their time are overlap in one day, and the fee is so high...  

Too difficult. However, I will try my best!
