There are differences!
Post by je m'en fous
没什么区别。所以想搞婚外恋或者怕婚姻束缚的,是不来国外同居滴(除非你一穷二白),到时候想拍拍屁股走人,可没那么容易,财产照分,官司照打。要玩还是回国玩去吧。
One of the stories on CTV news few months ago - a couple lived together and in business together for over 30 years, owned more than 10 properties. 财产照分 for the house that they lived in. For the rest, they are still in court. . . . +++ The ultimate answer is :- IT IS NOT THE SAME. I don't remember the details hence can't answer Freememory's question on " . . spouse(结婚)和common law partner(同居)有什么区别吗?"
One possible relevant story: Husband went into comma, WIFE signed paper to unplug him. Husband's family (brothers++) tried to stop it, they had to get a court order. Before they got the court order, the hospital already unplugged the husband (=died) per wife's signature. Believe it would have been different if she was common law.
May be:
同居 ~= let's give it a trial ~= 试婚
结婚 ~= let's be together forever (at least both parties have the intention to start)
Good luck! |
