For short trips to the U.S. such as vacation, shopping, visitinging friends, even short business trips (training, conference, customer services, product demo, etc), a Canadian citizen normally needs a valid Canadian passport to enter U.S. A visa is not required currently. Although I'm not sure how long one can officially stay in U.S. without a visa, I know people who go there spending an entire winter without any problem.
However, if you go to work in U.S.(get paid by a U.S. company/organization), you need a NAFTA working visa. |
