It may seem to be a little misleading here. Firstly, if you are accepted as a U0 student, you can take most of your courses in down towm campus. Secondly, about transfer to another department or major, it is not that hard at all. Actually in U0, it is unnecessary to declear your major for most of programs. Most probably, you will take all common courses for you department. Also, the intra-department transfer is as easy as just changing your status in the computer system. For inter-department transfer, if you are in your first or second year, have a GPA above 3.0, and meet some course requirement, mainly math courses, most department would not reject you. Please remeber, it is very common to tranfer department here, which is regarded as a student's basic right. No one can stop you except yourself. Finally, McGill's undergraduate program is quite different from graduate program and checking the calendar for information is always a good idea.
Congratulations!
BTW from downtown campus to McDonald campus takes about 45 minutes. |
