Yes, I think future is good, specially in Montreal.
Note that the bioinformatics is not as fancy as it seems to be. Lots of students took that course because of its name sounds "cool". But it turns out super boring for some people. Here is a little bit flavor let you taste first :p It involves lots of mathematics and theoretical computer science. (e.g. biostatics, tree, linear programming NP-completeness problem, approximation alogrithms NP-hard problem, combinatorial optimizations - convex/non-conves programming, etc.) |
