Can someone tell me any skating rink close to Montreal downtown (30min drive)? I'm looking for a skating rinks that are opened free for public.

Here is the skating rink in Old-Montreal:

It will be opened on Dec. 3th. Individual season is only 20$.

There will be a skating rink open around Christmas at the top of the Mont-Royal (Beside the lake).

这个周日下午准备去COTE VERTU地铁站附近的冰场，有没有人想一起去？ 这个地方我是第一次去，冰场大小和质量还不知道，去过之后再向大家介绍。

交流一下经验？我在cotevertu附近，不知能不能告诉一下地址，以及有没有冰球出租，价格时间如何？谢先。

在 Boul. Marcel Laurin街的西侧，在Boul. Thimens上,多少号记不清了，名字是：centre sportif Raymond-Bourque, 那地方有一大片体育场的。

冰鞋有租的，冰球嘛，自己买一个算啦，哈

是啊, 偶也想呢...可是, 大家说来说去,到底都想去哪里啊? 我到是都没所谓啦, 只要是人能去的地方, 呵呵...

Micgill 到是可以, 就是星期天时间太短了, 才1个小时... 对不起, 偶这周只周六晚和周日有空.

其实，如果大家真的先找个好的地方，我觉得westmount arena还是不错的。好象Sat晚上大场子是开放的，那时，人也不会多。中国人去那里的挺多的。

可恨没有地铁票。 谁能帮我借吗？

Westmount 的时间不清楚呀, Tap, 能否告知一下啊? 还有, 你的地铁票不是问题, 只要你能给偶找到个合适的时间可以跟大家一起滑 ;)

地铁票 is always a problem for me, since I live in downtown and couldnot find one with people I know living here. hehe. Also, if I spend $4 for only 1-2 hours skating.... don't worth it lah.

Well, I went to westmount last Sat. night. The ice was not that good, but few people. Maybe I went there too late (after 8pm), and the big rink opens at 6pm.

I have the schedule of the big rink open time in Westmount: Sat. 6pm-9:45pm; Sun. 2pm-4pm.

I prefer Sat. night. Anybody else?

Don't worry lah. The address is 4675 St. Catherine West. It is said close to a metro station, but I don't know which, maye Vendome or Villa-Marrie? I only take bus 24 on Sherbrooke everytime. It is just behind the Westmount Park. When I see the Park, I get off there.

Maybe the ice is smoother if u go there earlier, but I can only go after 7pm. Also, there are fewer bus on weekend (need to wait half an hour in COLD WINTER). The earliest bus I can take is around 7:30pm.
