i sent my citizenship application on Dec. 4, 2005, and my case was transferred to Montreal on March 21, 2006. I just received the notice of test last Friday and will take the test at 8:15am, Oct 16, 2006. Hope I can take the oath on the same day.  I am in US now, and really don't wanna fly back again just to take the oath.

btw, does anybody here know if there is any express way to get the passport, for example, in my case, i have a returning ticket to US on Oct. 19, is is possible for me to get the passport before my departure?

If you are lucky, you can take the oath at the same time.

There is a expedition service for the passprot... maybe 48 hours? Not sure... check the passport  office website yourself. BTW, you need a garrantor for the passport application.

Montreal 比toronto要慢，看toronto有人四个月就考试了

前两天到pharmacie照了像。
今天发现照片背面没有照相师的签字啊，只有phamacie的盖章和日期，没问题吧？

不用担心，我在jean－coutu 照的像，背面也只有盖章和日期，无照相师的签字，上个月拿到公民卡。
