各位朋友，谁能指点一下怎么办理父母移民，是先探亲后转为移民还是直接移民比较好，本人在国内有个哥哥，是否会影响父母移民，先谢谢了

It seems a long time ago but I still like to share with you.
Actually, both are ok.
You should have worked in CA for at least one year before you begin to evaluate your case. Your job should be permanent, there is a form to calculate how much you should earn before you can sponsor family memeber except your wife(this is much easier!!), as I remember you can sponsor both your parents if you earn about 30k . you can check online.
Application in CA directly or in china are due to the same procedure. Of course, it is faster to apply in CA but you should pay higher medical examination fee (according to CA standard), Just imaging if you don't have medical insurance and go to hospital?!!  ;-<<
So the key point is that you should have steady income to maintain your life and potential burden.
There is no negative effect for some brothers or sisters, immigration canada doesn't care.
