我想知道有没有魁省的朋友，不住在蒙城的？小城市不会讲法语生活有问题吗？生活费用是否更便宜？COFI是否更快入学？请有经验的朋友指点。

也就是Montreal和Hull两个城市不会讲法语，生活没有问题以外，在魁省其他中小城市不讲法语会有不小的问题。在魁省移民部鼓励新移民到中小城市插队落户的政策下，当然入读Cofi要比Montreal快。

如果你真有这个想法给你个建议：在前几天报纸上看见QUEBEC为了鼓励新移民到别的城市去，规定在到MONTREAL移民2年后在去别的QUEBEC城市的补偿你俩年的房租交通费等！！！！！！！！

Hi.

Come to Trois-Rivieres, you'll enter COFI quickly. For the people at immigration, in Montreal you're just a number, here they'll treat you like a human being. They'll even help you find an appartment etc.

Disavantages :
Few chinese but if you wanna live with Chinese, you're better in China.

Advantages :
You'll be fluent in French in 1 year.
Tons of friends. Everybody will help you.
Living cost are 60-70% those in Montreal.
Having a car is much cheaper than Montreal, there's parking everywhere (for free)
Finding employment for immigrants is easy, immigrants are seen as hard-working.
Except for Chinatown, there's nothing Montreal has that we don't have. Cinemas, university, Cegep, sports center, big shopping centers, all kinds of restaurants... well, Montreal has high prices and is very crowded, we don't have this here.

it is right we can go to COFI easier. what will happen after COFI?

i think you do need to speak French in order to work in trois-rivieres. also there is few chinese people there, so it will be hard for you get help from the chinese community. but , yeah, i was heard that you can get help from local in terms of learning french, settelling down, coz the quebec government is really trying to increase french speaking population
