Guess most people on this BBS will leave Montreal sooner or later. Just way too many attractions else where, Montreal is not a bad place though. Careerwise, 90% will choose to leave for better pay, lower tax, English environment. Other factors like weather, poverty, and etc.

北京的蜕变，更让我感到蒙特利尔的珍贵，美丽，一个充满风情的城市。。。。。

也许多年后，我依然会选择这里，回到这里。。。

I guess more people will leave there the beautiful city. Not because the weather, the weather is also nice there, i like the winter there, but because of the low salary, poor opportunities and poverty. I am in the US now, i lived there ~9 yrs. I will visit there when have a chance, or possibly will live there when retiring

You are leaving the place I have come to for the same reason of a better life.

Better life may have a different meaning for you and for me.

You are happy to say good-bye for your new job with your family.

I feel sad I am away from my relatives to arrive here for a "damn" position.

actually the salary in montreal is not so low, depending on your profession and position. but for me, the french is a absolute handicap that i cannot make it. People here are very nice. Colleagues and boss are very nice to me no matter they pretend or not, at least they let me feel i am one of them.

everything will be better and better. I cherish and take all your good words with me for anywhere from now on........As I said, I will be back someday.
