Yes, I forgot that is true we see the color differently, it varies by each PC, monitor and even OS. Need to discuss this area a bit further with teacher, there must be a way to make a compromise when we post photos on internet. This is actually not a question. It depends how serious are you on the appear on the monitor, the concept about color management. In one word, theoretically speaking, if our monitors had all been calibrated with standard procedure and devices, the color sould be all appeared same on the monitors.
However, there are some little tips which possibly can be called as compromise way.
1. make sure the color space of your picture is sRGB before you upload the picture on the internet.
2. some of the public websites are providing kind of gray scale chart (as showing here) such as www.depreview.com, goto any camera review page, the gray scale chart is right on the bottom of the page, look on the chart see if all the white block to black block (A to Z) are visible, you can adjust your monitor if it's not, set the contrast of the monitor to the highest position then adjust the bright level to satisfied the visual of the gray scale chart. |
