boot.ini is under your c drive. ( a handy tip: when you try to find a file in your PC, go to Start, Find, File or Folder, and type the file name, your computer will find it for you)
to bingjing:
the explorer.exe might be corrputed. i don't know what OS you are using. if you still have that installation CD with you, just copy explorer.exe form that CD and overwirte your current explorer.exe file (should be located in c;\win or c;\winnt folder) your system. if you don't have that CD, give me your email address, I can forward you a copy by mail. if the restore of explorer.exe wont' resolve the issue, you only can reinitialize your computer. |
