Any computer guru help me out! How do I input French character with accent. And how do I make my office 2000 recognize the french words I input and give spell check in French?

you need a bilingual keyboard

é: beside the right Shift
ê: first "^"then "e"= ê
è and ç are the same method as ê

i don't know which Windows version do you have, i heard that the French spelling could only be checked in Windows SP version

别误导，不用法语键盘一样可以输入法语。
é是右shift键的左边一个，
è在é上一排
ç在è上一排
à在ç上一排
êûâîô等按〔键后再按相应键
ëüäïö等按shift＋〔键后再按相应键

Roger,你可以试一下英文版本的Windows＋法语输入法环境，法语检查错误的功能就自动应用了，我的朋友就是这样用的，他用的英文版本的Windows 98．

Jeffoo,我没有误导，如果不是双语键盘是无法用你说的方法打出发语字的，键盘上也不会有é，如果不是双语键盘就要用另一种方法了，我以前的键盘就不是双语的，不过在这儿，大多数都是双语键盘，不过每个键盘上符号的分布是不同的，我的就和你的不一样，你不要以偏概全呀！

我的也不是双语键盘呀，我是从国内带来的标准键盘。不信你来看一看。

其实双语键盘和标准键盘的键位不一样，用我说的办法在双语键盘上就错了。你自己也不是说我的和你的不一样么？因为我的就不是双语键盘。

我总以为象自己以前用的那种没有é键，只能通过Ctrl和Shift几个键打出法语那几个特别字的键盘才是标准键盘．我怕我的方法会误导别人，所以我才加了一句要用双语键盘（其实我的方法和Jeffoo的是一样的），没想到我的一句话却引来了这麽多的争议，Sorry!

不管什麽键盘，能打出法语就好了！

我用的是英文Windows2000，我在controlpanel--keyboard--language 中添加了输入法French(Canada),Keyboard/IME选择Canadian Multilingual Standard,发现只能输入çàèéÇÀÈÉ，请问如何输入其他字符(带..和^）？如何用Ctrl和Shift几个键打出法语字母？
