本周FUTURE SHOP特价：LG CD-Rewriter 32x 10x 40x $69。但购回才发现自己不会装。请教各位：
(1)能否在HP 6736(667Hz, 64MB, 20GB,CD-ROM 48x max speed)上用此rewriter？因原装机的机箱没有多余的的方，是否应先取出原装光驱，再把此rewriter装在原光驱位置上？
(2)我装软件时，系统出现"lease uninstall your old CD creator and reboot it from your system"的提示，但我找不到the old CD creator? 请问这个文件名的后缀是什么？若删去，会影响其它软件的运行吗？

紧急求教！若装不了， 我只好退货了。十分感谢！

But I still have a problem: when I install the CD recording software(given by the CDrewriter),which is Roxio ECDC and Direct CD. There comes a window saying "The installation software did not find at least one supported drive in this computer system, do you wish to continue?". When I click the Yes button, it says "An older version of Easy CD creator was found on your system, please uninstall the older version of Easy CD Creator and reboot the system before installing Easy CD Creator 5 Basic"

How can I find what is the 'supported drive' and how to find and uninstall the old version recording software?

it's truely an annoying digging to find which block your installation.

once i searched several times in registry to clear something which old Sympatico left.  you know, upper letter, lower letter, confused.

I suggest you to use nero or other CD Write software, it works well.  I also use Clone CD as a complement of Nero.

i bought one too. it has already installed and worked well up-to-now. don't worry, i think, just following the instruction given to you.

Guys: Please be aware that the software you got may be not the complete one. Roxio has issued a mend ware for that. you can check it from it's website and install it. Everething will be OK.
