Nikon is really a good brand for cameras, I tied Nikon 3100 last week and it gave me rich color, sharp (but not too sharp like sony's)images, plus its easy-to-use buttons and menus... u can't ask more for a 3Mpixel Digital Camera.

As i know there is no 5300 for Nikon, only 5000 or 5400...but I believe there are all good choices if you want a 5Mpixel DC。
