为何要用“沉鱼落雁”来形容美女呢？个人觉得这词按字面看听难听的~

春秋的时候，有一个叫做西施的美女，她每天都会到溪边去浣纱，溪中的鱼看到西施，觉得自己长得比西施丑，都羞愧的不敢浮上水面，全沉到水底去。


汉朝的时候，也有一个美女叫王昭君，她要出塞去嫁给番王的时候，天空飞过的雁，看到王昭君长得那么漂亮，都惊讶的忘记该怎么飞了，全坠落到树林里面。

貂蝉拜月－－闭月：三国时汉献帝的大臣司徒王允的歌妓貂婵在后花园拜月时，忽然轻风吹来，一块浮云将那皎洁的明月遮住。这时正好王允瞧见。王允为宣扬他的女儿长得如何漂亮，逢人就说，我的女儿和月亮比美，月亮比不过，赶紧躲在云彩后面，因此，貂婵也就被人们称为“闭月”了。

贵妃醉酒－－羞花：唐朝开元年间，有一美貌女儿叫杨玉环，被选进宫来。杨玉环进宫后，思念家乡。一天，她到花园赏花散心，看见盛开的牡丹、月季，想到自己被关在宫内，虚度青春，不胜叹息，对着盛开的花说：“花呀，花呀！你年年岁岁还有盛开之时，我什么时候才有出头之日？”。声泪俱下，她刚一摸花。花瓣立即收缩，绿叶卷起低下。哪想到，她摸的是含羞草。这时，被一宫娥看见。宫娥到处说，杨玉环和花比美，花儿都含羞低下了头。“羞花”称号由此得来。

Really don't understand what happend to our Chinese people in China. What is so good about paiting on women's body?! One can paint on whatever else one likes: a wall, a carpet, canvas, silk, whatever. As for those people viewing, they can go and see paintings in a museum which are painted on whatever else rather than those on women's body. Of course, there always exist some peculiar tastes in this world full of "humanity" that are not quite appropriate to go public. Hence there always exists something that is supposed to stay underground during any particular period of historical time in any society. So why don't our people go and enjoy those tastes in private (at least no under the sun)! Our Chinese people are parading in fact, parading under the sun their tastes which are not quite worth being proud of.

Beauty and divinity are floating everywhere in the universe. Artists are the eyes seeking them out; arts are the vehicles conveying them through. I don't think any nation who lost the last sense of divinity would thrive in any foreseeable future. This is really sad.

我没什么好骄傲的, 也不感到可悲.
可能我的品位不大众, 但大家都喜欢一样的东西没什么意思.
BODYPAINTING不是人人喜欢, 但我知道喜欢的人不少, 有中国人, 有非中国人. 我没分析过我为什么喜欢BODYPAINTING, 简单说, 我喜欢BODY, 也喜欢PAINTING.  既然纸,布,石头都行, 为什么身体不行? 有人喜欢纲琴, 有人喜欢二胡, 可是偏偏有人喜欢吹口哨.
油画自由女神领导人民(LIBERTY LEADING THE PEOPLE)也受过批评, 但我们发现, 钱上, 邮票上, 飞机上都有她的身影.
至于展览的场所, 我觉得论坛是个合适的场所, 当然假如有很多同志感到反感,我就给删了.

No! Sorry, I didn't make myself clear. I was not pointing at you, and I don't think it is any big deal seeing some body figures here and there. Actually there are plenty of body figures in serious art.

I was expressing my concern over the overheating attitude of the MASS in China.
I think that particular attitude reveals something that is worth some thinking. Why? I explained it already.

Again, nothing in my previous comments related to your personal tastes at all. Your post just reminded me of a "report" about the popularity of body painting show in China. (I took it for granted in a rash moment that we all know that "report", therefore we all know what I was referring to). Hence there went my post which is really not a reply to yours. Hope this time I made myself clear enough. If not, I think I have trouble communicating ;) .
