very likely. i am not sure though because i don't have a audigy card. now the firewire pci card is pretty cheap. i got mine a year ago for about $200 US, now you can get one for as cheap as $50 Canadian.

Sorry, told u guys the wrong name. I checked it several months ago and didn't remeber the right number. At least I didn't tell u to buy a firewall.    

The cheapest firewire card is around $75 before tax in Futureshop. It is slow though.
